Madolyn Henline, LGPC

Hi! My name is Madolyn Henline, and I am a Licensed Graduate ProfessionalCounselor. I am currently under the supervision of Stephany Ponciano, LCPC. After seeing the positive effects of counseling on those around me growing up, I wanted to become one of the many people with the privilege to help those around me. I’m compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated, and I love to bring a bit of humor into the session- only when appropriate! I am also a sex-positive and LGBTQ+-affirming therapist.

I graduated from Hood College with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before that, I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology at St.Mary’s College of Maryland in southern Maryland. I have a person-centered approach, and I encourage open communication between myself and my clients on how to make therapy as beneficial as possible for them, I am always willing to hear feedback and adjust to make the experience as comfortable and helpful as possible!

I have experience working in a clinical setting with clients ranging from 5-65 years old. I counseled individuals and groups with various behavioral and mental health challenges. My clinical experience includes working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, anger management, and multiculturalism among others. I am trained in DBT, and I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

When I’m not in session, I practice self-care. I love playing games, visiting local coffee shops, and spending time with friends.
