Christiana Anderson, LGPC-Intern
Hi there, my name is Christiana, and I am a counseling intern under the supervision of Stephany Ponciano LCPC. I am currently pursuing a masters in clinical mental health counseling through Hood College. I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology and art from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
Having personally experienced and witnessed the transformative power of therapy, I deeply value its ability to foster positive change. I hope to bring some of that impact to the work we do in order to help you foster personal insight, and achieve your individualized goals. While I am still refining my specific therapeutic approach, I tend to take a person-centered perspective, integrating strengths-based and narrative techniques to guide our work together.
Bringing awareness to your inner thoughts is essential, especially when life's challenges can feel overwhelming. My goal is to provide you with a supportive, growth-focused, and safe space to explore and nurture various aspects of yourself. Together we can explore what well-being looks like for you.
I am aware that every person who enters the therapy room has a unique background and identity. My aim is to create a place where your voice is heard, you feel understood, and optimistic about the path ahead. My hope is to work with you on your journey no matter where that starts, and craft an individualized approach to explore pathways that will increase your well-being.
I look forward to partnering with you on this meaningful journey toward self-discovery and growth.
